Home-Based Counselor
Home-based Counselor: Small outreach family team seeks full-time counselor to work with at-risk children, adolescents and families referred by the Dept. of Social Services (and DMH) in their homes. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, case management, community-based recreation, and collaboration with providers. Weekly team meetings and individual supervision provided by an independently licensed Coordinator. Excellent training and experience for people new to the field. Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred. Candidates must have valid driver’s license and car. Minority candidates encouraged to apply.

Assistant Program Director
Assistant Program Director for the Carson Center for Traumatic Brain Injury Services of Western MA. Seeking an individual with a background in community based case management and skills training, Individual Service plan development and implementation, strong writing skills and distant supervision. This fulltime position calls for knowledge of traumatic brain injury/and or acquired disabilities and associated conditions. Must be a team player and able to take on a leadership responsibility in absence of director. Masters Degree in Social Work, Education, Rehabilitation Counseling or related field. Experience with direct services to clients and supervisory experience required. Will consider candidates with Bachelors and 3-5 years direct services and supervisory experience. Crisis Clinician
CRISIS CLINICIAN: The Westfield Crisis Intervention Program at The Carson Center for Human Services is looking for one full time and one part time clinical social worker or mental health counselor to join our team. A relevant Masters degree is strictly required. Crisis Clinicians provide both psychiatric emergency services and ongoing psychotherapy to a diverse client population.
