Carson Center staff participated in and supported the NAMI-WM Walkathon 2011 - A Journey of Hope & Recovery.    This is an annual fundraising event in support of the National Alliance on Mental Illness in Western Massachusetts.  Proceeds go to support NAMI's free educational programs, support groups and fight for advocacy, awareness and elimination of the persistent stigma that surrounds mental illness.   The event was held on May 22, 2011 at King Philip's Stockade/Forest Park in Springfield.
