Valley Human Services Valley Human Services was founded in 1971 in Palmer as a volunteer hotline to counsel parents who were worried about drug and alcohol use among their teenagers. In 1974 the agency moved to Ware and expanded its services to include an array of behavioral health and child care services designed to meet the needs of the residents in Ware and Palmer and the many rural communities that surround us.
In 2006, Valley Human Services merged with The Carson Center for Human Services, yet remained in its current location with all of its myriad of services.
